Visual grading of structural wood (C24)

Our certified graders perform visual inspections for wood in strength class C24, following the relevant European standards. This is essential for structural applications such as roof construction, timber frame construction and load‑bearing elements.

What the visual grading includes

1. Assessment of wood quality Inspection of:

2. Moisture content control A critical factor for:

3. Conformity with EN 14081‑1 We classify the wood according to the European standard for visual strength grading, ensuring correct and compliant classification.

Performance certificates (D.O.P.)

After grading, we prepare a D.O.P. certificate (Declaration of Performance) for the approved wood. This document:

  • is mandatory for CE‑marked construction products
