Wood Drenching

As a certified drenching station (ATG and BUtgb), AC Timber Trading offers professional drenching treatments that significantly extend the lifespan of wood. We provide both green and colourless drenching, depending on the intended application and desired finish. These treatments enhance durability and protect the wood even under challenging conditions.

What is wood drenching?

Wood drenching is a treatment in which the wood is fully immersed in a protective preservative. This is carried out according to the A2 procedure, giving the wood a protection level suitable for applications that are not permanently exposed to rain or direct weathering.

The drenching agent penetrates the wood in a controlled and limited way, making it ideal for:

  • interior use
  • under‑roof applications
  • packaging
  • protection during storage or transport

Why choose wood drenching?

Wood drenching is an efficient way to protect wood over the long term. It prevents:

  • blue stain
  • wood‑decaying fungi
  • larvae of wood‑boring insects

For green drenching, we use Sarpeco 9+, a water‑based product that is both effective and environmentally friendly. For projects where the natural colour of the wood must be preserved, we also offer a colourless drenching treatment.

Quality and certification

AC Timber Trading supplies drenched wood with an ATG certificate and drenching certificate upon request, ensuring certified and traceable quality at all times. Our processes meet the strictest standards for durability, reliability and professional finishing.
